My Hometown❤️

Galle may or not be the most glamorous city in entire Sri Lanka, but I have loved living there for the past 21 years of my life.💖So now you know what my home town is. Yeah, It's Galle.😍

 

Most of my family lives in this beautiful and glamorous city. Can't say this city is small because of course Galle is super duper big.😎 Galle is a major city in Sri Lanka, situated in the Southern Province. Galle is famous for its Portuguese architectural buildings and the Galle fort.👌Galle is simply a Heritage place that I can guarantee that you can't find a place like this in entire Asia.😜

There are tons of things that made Galle this famous and gorgeous. It has cultural attractive places🏰, beaches🌊, temples🙏,churches♱, tea
plantations🍃, paddy fields🌾, hotels🏩and forests🐘. Anyone can enjoy this city with no worries that's why Galle is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Let me describe some places that you can visit in Galle😘.

Galle Fort

 

 

This place is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it's very famous not only among Sri Lankans but also among tourists too.😁 Inside this, you will find places like the Galle lighthouse⛯, the old Galle Dutch hospital🏥, two national museums🏦, and Groote Kerk⛪, one of the oldest Churches in Sri Lanka. Also, you can see people who craft traditional Sri Lankan masks 👺and elephants🐘, painters🖌, and snake players🐍.

 

Beaches

If I talk about beaches Galle town is completely surrounded by sea🌊. 

But there are the most famous beaches here are Jungle Beach, Angle Unawatuna Beach, Dewata Beach, Koggala Beach, etc🏖. You can come and watch the sunset at evening.🌅

Japanese Peace Pagoda

 

This place is also very near Galle town situated on Rumassala Hill🌞.

This was built with the assistance of Japanese Buddhist monks in 2005🙇. This place is situated in the calmest and most peaceful surroundings💕.

 

There are more places than the places I mention above but these are the most famous trio in Galle😊. As a lucky person who was born in Galle😎, I suggest you all who are reading this visit Galle and enjoy this place😍.
